Ashley and Kyle were amazing clients of mine in 2023. Today I want to share with you my process of designing their save the dates and wedding invitations, along with images from their wedding so that you can see how it all came together

Ashley first approached me to order my modern, clear acrylic circle save the date cards.

Closer to here wedding, Ashley and I began to design her wedding invitations based on inspiration she provided me. She wanted to include the modern script font that was in her clear save the date cards, and she requested color and a modern feeling. Below is the inspiration Ashley provided me.

Ashley sent me this image of an envelope liner she liked that she found online.

Next, I sent Ashley a first draft proof of her wedding invitations along with paper color choices. We discussed using a thick white cotton paper and having simple black letterpress printing.

Ashley took time to look over my invitation proofs with her fiance. They loved the look, but decided they wanted to move in a different direction. They requested a shaped wedding invitation. Here is what I designed from there…..

From here we settled on the following design. Here is my final digital proof, and here are pictures of the wedding invitation suite. This beautiful arch shaped wedding invitation was letterpress printed on soft pastel colored papers with a transparent vellum belly band and envelope.

And finally, here are pictures from their wedding. I love when my clients also hire me to design items for their wedding such as table numbers, name place cards, and wedding seating charts. These are all services I provide and create a cohesive and memorable wedding!
