how long does it take?

In a rush? Sometimes we can help. Please read below about our general timeline:

• Design time can take 1 business day to 3 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and how busy we are.

• We send up to 3 rounds of proofs with all orders. How fast you approve the proofs determines how fast your final product will be complete.

• Production time is about 2 weeks for most digitally printed designs; 3 weeks for most letterpress, foil printed, laser cut designs, and address printing.

• Shipping time is additional.

• Items can be made faster, but often with a rush fee, and only after we confirm what we can fit in to our schedule.

how do i get started?

If the pricing works for you and you feel we are a good fit, let’s work together!

• You do not need to meet Sofia in her studio, unless you desire. Most of our clients are from across the country.

• We can schedule a phone or video meeting if you desire.

• We can mail you a sample pack of our products keeping your special event in mind, pricing starts at $35 for this service.

• For most orders, a deposit is required to get started. The deposit will go towards your final cost. No design work is done until a deposit is paid.

• We obtain normal business hours within 9-5 eastern time Mon-Fri. We rarely make exceptions to meet or speak on the phone on the weekends or after hours.

• We do not send images or any design details via text message or social media. We find the process goes the most smooth via an email approval process.

AND FINALLY….WHAT CAN WE MAKE?

99% of the images you see on this website are our own designs. Please note that we also work with other designers to letterpress, laser cut, foil print, or digitally print their designs. We use the following printing methods:

custom Laser cutTING

We have two laser cutters in house. This allows us more creative freedom to test out designs and determine costs.

We can laser cut paper, wood, cork, leather, fabric, acrylic, and a few other materials. We can engrave glass and some metals, but not cut them.

custom letterpress printing

We have one printing press for letterpress printing. We can print an area up to about 8 by 10 inches. We love to experiment with printing on different materials and paper stocks.

CUSTOM FOIL PRINTING

We foil print in house. This allows us to foil print in MANY different colors on MANY different surfaces: unique paper stocks, acrylic, leather, etc!

CUSTOM DIGITAL PRINTING

We outsource some of our digital printing to printers we have been working with for years. We print some digital printing in house like any printing on handmade paper and most address printing.

custom laser ENGRAVING

Laser engraving is also done using our lasers. Materials that engrave beautifully are cork, wood, and acrylic.
